Our Vision
Chronic diseases, including HIV and cancer, often lead to immune exhaustion, hindering the body's ability to fight against infections and tumors. Dr. Elahi's research focuses on a specific immune cell type known as killer T cells, which play a crucial role in controlling chronic viral infections and cancer. Our goal is to unravel the mechanisms that allow certain individuals to naturally avoid immune exhaustion, paving the way for innovative therapies.
