Zahra Elahi

Zahra earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Alberta in Biological Sciences with a minor in Mathematics. Throughout her undergraduate studies, her passion for immunology emerged, leading her to join this esteemed laboratory initially as a volunteer. Subsequently, she transitioned into the role of a research assistant, where she engages in continuous learning of new techniques and expanding her knowledge in immunology.

Her current research is dedicated to the exploration of Galectin-3's role in erythroid progenitors. This endeavour has been both enlightening and rewarding, offering her valuable experiences and insights. Working alongside the talented individuals in this lab has contributed significantly to her professional growth. She is enthusiastic about the ongoing journey of discovery and learning in the field of immunology.
